Biographer William Mann Tells All About Marlon Brando At Mark Twain House

Marlon Brando in “Last Tango in Paris”

William Mann knows Hollywood.

Mann is the best-selling author of the movie capital crime saga “Tinseltown” as well as insider biographies of Barbra Streisand, Katharine Hepburn and John Schlesinger, among others. For his latest book, “The Contender,: Then Story of Marlon Brando” Mann takes on arguably the greatest actor of the 20th century — who died in 2004 at the age of 80.

I’ll be doing an on-stage conversation with Mann Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Mark Twain House and Museum, 351 Farmington Ave. in Hartford. It’s part of “A Little Harmless Fun” series of lively and entertaining on-stage conversations.

There will also be a question-and -nswer period and a book signing following the talk. Admission is 10 bucks.

Information: marktwainhouse.org and 860-247-9898.
