When Linda Cho won her Tony Award for A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, the costume designer wore a gown that was colorful, fun and picture-perfect.

When she was nominated for Anastasia, her red-carpet look was again a head-turner, merging Hollywood glam with Broadway pizzazz. 

But when she was growing up in Toronto, she, like so many tweens and teens, experimented with different looks, styles and fashion trends.

“I had various perms which were horrifying,” said Cho, with a laugh, from her Manhattan home where she lives with her husband and two young sons.
